After a spring-like warm Thursday we will get into a late winter-like cold weather phase beyond the weekend. A first cold front with a foehny south-westerly wind will hit us throughout Friday afternoon. The cold front will withdraw with scattered showers until Saturday morning. The snow line will sink near 1500m above sea level. Temporarily improved conditions are to be expected on Saturday. Residual showers will abate, the sun will appear. On Sunday, the wind will veer back south-westwards. Foehny effects will arise, the next cold front with new showers will hit us throughout Sunday afternoon. Behind this front we will get into humid-cold north-westerly barrier effects at the beginning of next week. Subsequently, the winter will reach the valleys. This late winter-like weather phase will continue into Tuesday. On Tuesday, residual snow showers will abate and the clouds will begin to disperse.
