Weather Report
France is currently experiencing extreme heat under the influence of a high-pressure system. This is already the third heat wave of the year. This zone of intense heat will expand further eastward in the second half of the week. As a result, we, too, will come under the influence of midsummer-like warm to hot air masses. The air will remain relatively dry for the time being. Plenty of sunshine is the logical result (Thursday, Friday). Weather-wise, little will change over the weekend. The sun will continue to dominate, with midsummer temperatures. Although the air will become somewhat more humid, thunderstorms will form only rarely. The risk of thunderstorms is slightly higher only on the southern side of the Alps. High-pressure conditions will also dominate at the start of the week. If this holds true, the dry conditions, which are already prevalent in some areas, will intensify further.
