About St. Anton am Arlberg

With 85 mountain lifts and cable cars, more than 300 kilometres of marked pistes and around 200 kilometres of off-piste terrain, St. Anton am Arlberg—home to Ski Arlberg—ranks among the world’s most renowned and largest winter sports destinations. In summer, this Austrian holiday region captivates visitors with a wide range of mountain activities and sporting events, set against a spectacular Alpine backdrop. Food lovers particularly appreciate the award-winning, toque-awarded cuisine in this tradition-rich Tyrolean mountain village. Since 2021, St. Anton am Arlberg has been an official climate change adaptation model region and is also home to the world’s highest ICE station, at 1,304 metres above sea level. In 2023, the village’s designation as a “Best Tourism Village” by the UN World Tourism Organization once again underscored how tourism and a strong commitment to sustainability can go hand in hand.
