Village Pettneu in winter

Pettneu am Arlberg and Schnann

Spring. Summer. Autumn. Winter.

Between the mountains of the Lechtal Alps and the Verwall Group, and sitting 1,228 metres above sea level, the village of Pettneu am Arlberg lies about 6 km from its neighbour, St. Anton am Arlberg, and is a good starting point for hikes, and mountain and ski tours. The Wellnesspark Arlberg Stanzertal extern, with its indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium invites you to exercise or relax indoors when the weather prevents you from venturing outdoors.

Pettneu includes the village of Schnann, with the wildly romantic Schnanner Gorge. You can also experience an old Tirolean craft, and take a trip back in time, by visiting a bell forge. Visits are by appointment only but can be easily arranged.
