Weather Report

Following the passage of an upper-level low on Sunday, the Alpine region will be under the influence of a persistent, brisk and cold easterly flow at the start of the week. On Monday, the air will temporarily become significantly drier again, allowing the sun to shine more brightly from the mountains. On Tuesday, a few denser patches of cloud will once again creep into the weather as the day progresses, whilst temperatures will slowly start to rise again. This trend will continue on Wednesday with considerably more sunshine. Thursday and Friday will then bring us autumn weather at its finest, with the frost line sitting at around 2,700 metres. Next weekend could see more change in the weather, but the long-term forecast remains quite uncertain for the time being.
