Ansbacher Hütte   

A steep path that takes to approx. 1200 m above sea level and up to four hours of hiking will lead you to the Ansbacher Hut. Starting from the village of Flirsch, passing by the village fountain, cross the bridge and then turn right towards Fuxloch. After a few metres the mountain forest path continues upwards. The steep ascent starts through shady woodland and further on, the trail continues uphill and crosses meadows featuring beautiful alpine flowers. Hikers will have wonderful views over the Stanzertal and of the Hoher Riffler mountain. The last part leads over a steep green crest to the hut. Once at the hut, visitors can enjoy a relaxing break. Return to the village by either hiking the same route or taking the path to the Fritzhütte. Alternatively, you can stay overnight at the hut and continue hiking on the Adlerweg to the Kaiserjochhaus and/or the Leutkircher Hütte on the following day.
