The Stanton Ski Open 2025 in St. Anton am Arlberg marks the official start of the winter season from December 5 to 7 – with a three-day festival full of highlights.
Look forward to free ski and snowboard testing, live music on three stages, food trucks, and a fantastic party atmosphere. A lecture on avalanche awareness and the Arlberg Safety Camp provides important insights into off-piste mountain safety.
The ski area will already kick off the winter season on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Fäaschtbänkler live at the Arlberg WellCom

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, the Stanton Ski Open wraps up with a special highlight: Fäaschtbänkler live in concert!
These five exceptional musicians from Switzerland are known for their explosive live shows. With over 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, more than 250 million streams, and celebrated festival performances across Europe, they captivate audiences everywhere. Their sound is a unique mix of pop, brass, electronic beats, ska, and folk music, bursting with energy. Songs like “ALL IN,” “Welt voller Wunder,” or “Can You English Please” have long since achieved cult status.

Arlberg Safety Days
On Sunday, 7 December 2025, everything will focus on safety in open terrain. Under the motto ‘Be there – for yourself, for others, for a safe Arlberg’, winter sports enthusiasts will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and gain practical experience from 08:00 to 15:00 hrs.
Avalanche Rescue with the Mountain Rescue Team
Learn from experienced members of the mountain rescue service how to behave correctly off-piste:

Correct behaviour during and after an avalanche

Practical training with avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel (Please bring your own equipment)

First aid and care for a buried victim
Freeride and Safety Coaching
Freeride and Safety Coaching takes you out into the terrain – in small groups with state-certified mountain and ski guides. The focus is on practical topics:

Schlagerliebe Live 2026
at the Mooserwirt
The cult event for music hit fans: Since 2001 (!), countless TV recordings with hundreds of artists have been filmed at the MooserWirt - and this success story continues!
On December 5 and 6, 2025, the filming of “Schlagerliebe Open Air – Superhits from St. Anton am Arlberg” will take place on the MooserWirt extern terrace. Rehearsals take place in the early afternoon and recording starts shortly before dusk. If you like, you can be there live when international chart-toppers present their songs.
No tickets or reservations – first come, first served. Admission is free.
