St. Anton am Arlberg places great emphasis on co-operation with the renowned Schöffel clothing manufacturer.
The family-owned company Schöffel is among the leading European outdoor brands. The Bavarian traditional company and the Tourism Association will start collaborating from next winter. This is based on manager Peter Schöffel's long association with St. Anton am Arlberg. “He is a passionate skier and has been coming to us for many years. Several personal friendships among others with TVB-chairman Richard Walter have formed over the years. The present co-operation is the positive side effect,” says marketing director Wilma Himmelfreundpointner. The Schöffel brand and St. Anton am Arlberg are almost a perfect match and both symbolise sportsmanship and quality.
The most visible sign of co-operation is the Schöffel clothing worn by TVB staff and the board of directors. Placing the eye-catching logo in the outdoor brand’s brochures complements this. There are also plans to shoot photos for Schöffel's next catalogue in St. Anton am Arlberg. Other joint actions include (competitions). Market appearances are also part of the agreement.
In 1804, Schöffel was founded in the Bavarian town of Schwabmünchen and now employs around 200 staff. As a partner of ÖSV, Schöffel fits out Alpine sportspeople with its products. The extreme mountain climber Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner is another well-known ambassador for the brand.
