Freeride glides through deep snow in St. Anton am Arlberg. He is skiing off-piste, powder snow is piling up, snow-covered trees and rocks can be seen.

STANTON FREERIDE by Ski Club Arlberg

On Sunday, February 15, 2026 all eyes are on the next generation of freeriding.
STANTON Freeride by Ski Club Arlberg is a 2** Junior Freeride Event, which provides the future generation of freeriding a chance for their first steps into the sport. Girls and boys on skis and snowboard in U14-U16-U18 categories will compete and show their bests.

 

Stefan Häusl, a Freeride World Tour participant for 9 years and Freeride World Tour stop winner, will be Chief of Race in his hometown St. Anton am Arlberg. The competition face is playful, has nice features and the riders can show their skill in front of the breathtaking landscape, with great spots for the crowd to watch. Don´t miss out on this spectacular event and either be one of the brave riders and take part in the competition (sign up on the Freeride World Tour Website) or join as spectator and support the daring youngster.

The contest will take place at Galzig Bachseite down to the Tanzböden cable car station.
