Schnann themed trail
On historical paths
Under the motto ‘Faith and History’, this circular route in Schnann tells of the Swabian children, child labourers from Austria, Italy and Switzerland, who worked their summers on farms in Swabia in south western Germany, and then returned to their homes in the winter. It also covers the alpine pasture, or the ‘goldene Stadt’, among other interesting topics. At 13 stations, life-size figures made of weathered steel ‘tell’ these exciting stories from a history book waiting to be opened.
