Out and about with the huskies

Excitement is in the air. From far away, the excited howling and joyful barking of Arun, Nanook, Iron and the many other sled dogs can be heard. They can hardly wait to run through the snow. Experience the most extraordinary breed of dog in the midst of a spectacular and beautiful winter landscape in St. Anton am Arlberg. Enjoy a husky sleigh ride or hike every Monday and Friday morning throughout the winter season.

To welcome you, we will tell you everything about the sled dogs and the sled dog sport. After that we will prepare the sled. In the meantime we will tell you everything about our dogs. Up to 7 huskies will be harnessed and now each participant may take turns sitting on the sled for a round of about 2.3 km. (ride 15 min. - depending on conditions and daily condition of the dogs). At the end the dogs can be petted, fed and watered under supervision.

Dates: Monday and Friday mornings

Duration: approx. 2 hours (introduction, harnessing, rides, petting and feeding, farewell) 

Meeting point: at the Wellnesspark Arlberg extern

€ 100.- adults from 12 years

€ 70.- children from 5 to 11 years 

€ 20.- spectators in the trapper camp
