Parish fair St. Jakob am Arlberg

The traditional Parish Fair takes place at the church square in St. Jakob am Arlberg extern and welcomes both locals and visitors for two joyful days filled with music, good food, and Tyrolean culture. The focus is on tradition, brass band music, and a wide range of local dishes and drinks. 

The festival begins on Saturday evening with a concert by a visiting brass band. After that, dance music keeps the atmosphere lively and cheerful. Guests can enjoy tasty regional food, drinks from the famous Musi-Bar as well as from the pils and wine bar, and visit the popular rose stall with target shooting – a fun and social activity for all ages. 

A special highlight is the procession and festive church service on Sunday morning, which shows the village’s strong sense of tradition and solidarity. Afterwards, brass bands from the region and beyond are creating a joyful atmosphere at the church square with their guest concerts. 

Children are very welcome: on Sunday afternoon, a fun children’s programme offers games, entertainment, and plenty of smiles.
