The Verwall valley is a popular destination in summer and winter. Between December and the end of April, it’s ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking, but a special highlight is exploring the snow-covered valley and enjoying the peace and quiet in a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride. It’s also well worth taking a break in the Wagner hut extern while you’re there.
