For Thursday and Friday, we need to prepare for very complex weather conditions. We’ll be entering the influence of an air mass boundary where cooler air from the north meets warmer air from the south. The air is humid and prone to showers. Under these conditions, a detailed forecast—both in terms of location and timing—is actually of little use. Intermittent downpours are expected throughout the day. Thunderstorms are also possible. Temperatures will drop noticeably again. The weekend will bring neither a significant improvement in the weather nor a marked rise in temperatures. We will remain within the air mass boundary. At the start of next week, a low-pressure system will move from the western Mediterranean further northeast toward Poland. More rain therefore seems guaranteed.
