Regio Arlberg Buslinien

The municipalities of Stanzertal, St. Anton am Arlberg, Pettneu, Flirsch and Strengen joined forces in 2003 to organise and finance local public transport. In close cooperation with Verkehrsverbund Tirol GmbH and ÖBB Postbus GmbH, it has been possible to optimise the bus system in the Stanzertal and in the local area of St. Anton am Arlberg. 27 buses transport up to 3 million passengers a year. ÖBB Postbus operates the ski bus and Nightliner in winter as well as the local bus ‘Antoon’ and hiking bus to Verwalltal in summer, offering locals and guests a great all-round service. The use of the Regio Arlberg buses reduces car traffic in the Stanzertal, thus increasing the recreational value and making a significant contribution to environmental and climate protection.

Bicycles (with the exception of e-bikes) are transported free of charge depending on the space available and at the discretion of the bus driver.
