Due to the current Covid-19 situation and the resulting negative impact on the intensive care units, the Austrian federal government has introduce a nationwide lockdown from Monday November 22nd to limit the fourth Covid-19 wave in Austria. The restriction in force apply to the entire population in all regions until December 12th.

  • For minors between 12 and 15 years, a solution is being worked on.

Please contact your hotel or other tourist establishment directly to cancel your stay.

Taking out comprehensive travel insurance is particularly recommended. One option is the ‘European Travel Insurance’, which currently covers Covid-19 disease.

Ski resort

Due to the renewed nationwide lockdown, the start of the winter season has to be postponed. It goes without saying that the entire Holiday region of St. Anton am Arlberg and the Arlberger Bergbahnen (mountain railways operator) will open the winter season as soon as circumstances allow, therefore most probably on December 13th, 2021. Further details on the ski area opening will be  made available in a timely manner.
