A bad weather front, embedded into a westerly weather current, will cross our regions on Wednesday. It will bring rain showers and significantly cooler air masses. On Thursday, the influence of high-pressure will increase again and the sunny spells will become longer. Weak influence of high-pressure will determine the weather on Friday and at the upcoming weekend. Longer sunny spells are forecast and due to southerly winds rather warm air masses will reach the Alpine regions. Slight spells of foehn are expected, which will continue to result in mostly dry conditions.
