The Alps will remain located in front of a low-pressure area over West Europe in an intensive southerly current throughout the Whit weekend. Extensions of unsettled conditions, accumulating along the south side of the Alps, will approach. On the north side of the main Alpine ridge, a strong southerly current will weaken the frontal systems. Dry conditions will prevail, and sunny conditions are forecast for Saturday. From Sunday on, scattered rain showers are repeatedly expected in the north of the main Alpine ridge. The layers of air masses will be significantly more unstable. Rather variable and temporarily unsettled weather conditions are forecast until midweek. The temperatures will probably cool down, however, at present it is still uncertain, how the temperatures will develop.
