A cold front will approach the Alps from the north. The unstably layered air masses will be pushed away until Monday and result in a significant decrease in temperature. On Sunday, the warm and unstably layered air masses will still result in a mix of sunshine and thicker clouds with scattered rain showers or even thunderstorms, approaching in the afternoons or evenings. Until Monday, the cold front will bring rain showers and the snow line will temporarily reach a level of nearly 2000 meters. Behind this front, there will still be a higher risk for showers. Towards Tuesday, a high-pressure area will begin to determine the weather. Sunny conditions and temporarily rather friendly weather are forecast. Rather fresh temperatures may approach particularly on Tuesday morning.
